Arnold Gets Face Time in Terminator Salvation

Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably better known outside of California for playing a Terminator in the movie franchise than he is for acting as governor of the Golden State.
So for the movie “Terminator Salvation” opening on May 21, Schwarzenegger had to figure out how to be both the Governator and the Terminator, because as a busy man he didn’t want to spend time being both.

“Terminator Salvation” director McG, whose given name is Joseph McGinty Nichol, said that the problem was solved by using visual effects to superimpose Schwarzenegger’s face onto the body of a deadly Terminator robot in the movie, for a short scene. Arnold discusses like totally legalizing pot, Man

Man I must've been baked when I registered as a Republican. What was I thinking?

Man I must've been baked when I registered as a Republican. What was I thinking?

The pressure is on for California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to fill the state’s mega-bucks deficit, and he might have found an answer: selling pot. Schwarzenegger is supporting a large-scale study to investigate the legalization and taxation of marijuana for recreational uses. “I think it’s time for a debate,” he said. A recent poll showed more than half of the state’s registered voters support legalizing and taxing marijuana as a way to fill the budget deficit. Sales could raise over $1.2 billion annually in tax revenues, according to estimates, though that would do little to counteract the state’s deficit, which could reach a staggering $20 billion in a little over a year.

A billion dollars in additional tax revenue is one good reason, but I can think of like a hundred others. Ummm… What was I saying again? Man, I need some more Cheetos! And Skittles! And Oreos with peanut butter! And…–BEREZ

Arnold Schwarzenegger Smokes the Reefer

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said on Tuesday he welcomes a public debate on proposals to legalize and tax marijuana, which some suggest could provide a lucrative new revenue source for the cash-strapped state.

The Republican governor, whose term in office expires at the end of next year, was asked about the idea of treating pot like alcohol at an appearance in northern California to promote wildfire preparedness.

“No, I don’t think it’s time for that, but I think it’s time for a debate,” he said. “And I think we ought to study very carefully what other countries are doing that have legalized marijuana and other drugs, what affect it had on those countries, and are they happy with that decision.”

The former Hollywood actor, who has admitted smoking marijuana in the past, cited his native Austria as a country where “they want to roll back some of the decisions that were made in European countries.”

He said a decision to legalize marijuana, which has been outlawed in the United States since 1937, should not be made on the basis of raising revenues alone.

Governator to Hollywood: “I’ll be BACK!”

Berez, I said..... I hurt my Back..Not, I'll be back.....

No term limits in Hollywood: "If only i was this popular in Sacramento"

(CNN) — California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger may reprise his classic “Terminator” role in the fourth installment of the film franchise.

“Terminator Salvation” wouldn’t have the former movie star getting into makeup again. The special effects wizards at Industrial Light and Magic are trying to insert Schwarzenegger’s image from the 1984 original.

“I made it very clear that I don’t have the time to do the movie,” he said during an “Ask the Governor” Webcast on Tuesday. “I said that I would be willing to be in the movie if they get the technology together, and so they are working on that right now.”

Schwarzenegger said, in the scene, the main character would encounter him as a “future Terminator.” The new film is a prequel to the popular series.

“I think it’s cool to continue on with the franchise,” he said.

“Terminator Salvation,” featuring Christian Bale, hits the theaters on May 21.

So they’re gonna use Terminator footage from 1984 and update it for the movie. Does that mean we get the budget surplus we had back then too?  Hey, a guy can dream, can’t he? -JOSE BIDEN
