Miss California to keep title… of world’s dopiest beauty queen

"I'm the dopiest!"

NEW YORK (CNN) — Donald Trump will let Miss California USA Carrie Prejean keep her title despite controversy over seminude photos and charges by state pageant officials that she had abandoned her duties to devote time to opposition to same-sex marriage.
The decision, announced at Trump’s New York headquarters Tuesday, follows several weeks of controversy ignited when Prejean, 21, declared her opposition to same-sex marriage in response to a question during the national pageant. She finished as runner-up to Miss USA.

Trump — no apprentice at turning a negative into a positive — said the firestorm over Prejean proves his Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants “have become monsters.”
Seminude photographs that emerged on Web sites in recent days do not violate the contract Prejean signed when entering the pageant competition, Trump said.

I guess this was inevitable given the fact that Donald Trump had a hand in this decision. And knowing the Donald’s history with beautiful women,… both hands.–BEREZ

Trump breaks silence… on first time ever being silent

I commend your courage in taking a position shared by the vast majority of Americans

I commend your courage in taking a position shared by the vast majority of Americans

Donald Trump has broken his silence.
The owner of the Miss Universe franchise finally addressed the scandal surrounding his Miss USA pageant to FOX News Thursday, saying that he has received thousands of calls and letters, the majority of which support Miss California’s comments on gay marriage.Trump had been mum during the firestorm that followed the Sunday telecast, when first runner up Carrie Prejean’s responded to a question about the controversial issue of gay marriage.

When asked by judge Perez Hilton, an openly gay gossip blogger, whether she believed in gay marriage, Prejean said “We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite. And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised.”

Aside from the collective hair, there’s so much wrong with this it’s hard to know where to start. Why is this chick being called courageous for taking a position favored by 60% of Americans??? BEING AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE IS THE POPULAR POSITION.–BEREZ
